White To Wild Art Exhibition – Wildlife Art Society of Australasia

Due to be held on 12th,13th and 14th of July at Camberwell, the White to Wild Art Exhibition will be an event to raise attentiveness about the problem of balloon pollution. There will be a fantastic display of 2D artworks by leading and award-winning artists from across the country, along with 3D Artworks by Barry Mousley, featuring birds. Twin River’s Bream Classic Fishing Competition

Running for over 2 decades in the East Gippsland area, the standout fishing event, Twin River’s Bream Classic Fishing Competition will take place on the 15th and 16th of July at the Johnsonville Boat Ramp. A dedicated group of locals and farmers will be putting up the show at Boroondara with one of the longest running farmers markets in the Melbourne. This market doesn’t compromise with the quality and you can buy fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, eggs, honey, herbs, sauces, dips, cakes, olives and even wine.  You can interact directly with the producers and know the secret recipe behind everything. The event is hosted in support of Victorian farmers and is open to one and all. Each and every penny raised by this market goes towards the community projects run by Foundation Boroondara and Rotary of Glenferrie.

Basils Farm Winter Gardening Workshop

On the 22nd of July, Basils Farm will be hosting a winter gardening workshop where you will come to know everything about fresh and healthy organic food throughout the season. Using sustainable practices and design principles, coupled with expert skills of gardening gurus Igor and Ben, they will guide you to transform your garden into one of beauty, health and abundance. There will be free froday sessions as well. Topic include garden designing, orchard designing, soil health and nutrition, pruning deciduous trees and shrubs, winter propagation, kitchen garden harvests, farming worms in the garden and species selection.
